Defoamers to Reduce Existing Foam
Seacole offers two solutions for reducing existing foam in your wash process.
Defoamer O
Defoamer O is a highly concentrated, non-silicone, liquid foam suppressant compatible for use with all Spraydet detergents when additional foam control is necessary. Does not hinder or slow down the cleaning process. Designed to quickly eliminate foaming caused by water temperature, types of soils being cleaned, and heavy soil loading.
Defoamer S
Defoamer S is a highly concentrated silicone defoamer suited for foam control of aqueous detergent solutions. It is very effective in controlling foam in industrial spray cabinets, continuous spray systems, and agitated tanks. Defoamer S does not inhibit cleaning or interfere with aqueous detergents. It defoams at all temperatures.
ANTI/Foam to Prevent Foam
The most effective way to combat foam is prevent its formation in the first place. Seacole has developed three products that prevent the formation of foam in your cleaning process.
ANTI/Foam CR-98
ANTI/Foam CR-98 is a non-silicon, water-based anti-foam designed to be extremely free-rinsing, virtually eliminating residue on parts and process equipment. CR-98 exhibits a viscosity lower than water for easy and accurate automated additions with most types of pumping systems. Does not contain silica, fumed silica, or silicone.
ANTI/Foam CR-98S
An organic defoamer with silicone, ANTI/FoamCR-98S is chemically stable in alkaline solutions that easily and fully rinses.
ANTI/Foam CR-99
A diluted form of CR-98, ANTI/Foam CR-99 is a non-silicon, water-based anti-foam designed to be extremely free rinsing. CR-99 exhibits a viscosity lower than water for easy and accurate automated additions with most types of pumping systems.
